Dear Reader,

I would like to share some basic English grammar lessons to improve your English! English is an important languange that you must learn in order to get a job or simply because your dream is to become a traveler.

I, myself had difficulties to communicate with Starbucks barista when I was in London. I understand what they are asking but I could not reply with a good english sentence. There always "uhmm, errrr, aaa".

Today's lessons is all about how to use English Tense. English tense is the most common mistake non-native speaker make. So, let's start!

Run is an irregular verb, so the conjugation changes.  Each example has the positive or affirmative, negative and the question form.  

There are 17, so happy learning!

The simple present tense:
She runs. She does not run. Does she run?

The present progressive tense:
She is running. She is not running. Is she running? 

The simple past tense:
She ran. She did not run. Did she run? 

The past progressive tense:
She was running. She was not running. Was she running? 

The present perfect tense:
She has run. She has not run. Has she run?

The present perfect progressive tense:
She has been running. She has not been running. Has she been running? 

The past perfect tense:
She had run. She had not run. Had she run? 

The past perfect progressive tense:
She had been running. She had not been running. Had she been running? 

The future tense using 'Will'
She will run. She will not run. Will she run? 

The future tense using "Going to"
She is going to run. She is not going to run. Is she going to run?

The future progressive tense:
She will be running. She will not be running. Will she be running? 

The future 2 tense:
She will have run. She will not have run. Will she have run? 

The future 2 progressive tense:
She will have been running. She will not have been running. Will she have been running? 

The conditional 1 tense:
She would run. She would not run. Would she run? 

The conditional 1 progressive tense:
She would be running. She would not be running. Would she be running? 

The conditional 2 tense:
She would have run. She would not have run. Would she have run? 

The conditional 2 progressive:
She would have been running. She would have not been running. Would she have been running?

I made this so you can see quickly all of the English tenses.  Don't worry about learning every detail.  It's good to know a little English structure, but it is more important to practice English with topics that you like.

English Lesson 1

Hello readers, 

I want to tell you a secret. But you must promise me to keep this between us. My english is not that good. The basic english I have is too basic and I think I need to go to either British Council or Cambridge to get English Lessons. 

However, we live in modernise era. I think social media all this online as medium of communication can also help us to improve our English.

The English language has 8 major word groups and you will learn them now in a fast amount of time.

1. Nouns are persons, places, things or ideas.
Examples of Nouns:

The MAN ran.

DAVID played with his DOG.

NEW YORK is a beautiful CITY. 

  

2. Verbs show action.  
Examples of Verbs:

The boy TALKED with the girl.

I SEE the cars DRIVING on the street every day.

They HAVE BEEN to the movies. 

3. Pronouns replace nouns.  
Examples of Pronouns:

HE (the man) is talking to HER (the woman).

THEY are writing IT down.

I will find THEM.

 

4. Adjectives describe a noun or a pronoun.  
Examples of Adjectives:

She is a PRETTY woman.  

The man owns THREE cars.

They are HAPPY people.

 

5. Adverbs describe a verb, an adjective, or another adverb.
Examples of Adverbs:

They will go OUTSIDE.

She did that CORRECTLY.

The boy behaved BADLY. 

6. Conjunctions join words, phrases or clauses.

Examples of Conjunctions:

The boy AND the girl played in the park.

I put a coat on BECAUSE it is cold.

You shoud come here OR go home.

 

7. Prepositions show the relationship of a noun or pronoun to another word.
Examples of Prepositions:

My hand is ABOVE my head.

The pencil is ON the table.

I walked ACROSS the street.

 

8. Interjections are used to express strong emotions
Examples of Interjections:

Congratulations!

Great work!

Excuse me!

 

Those are the 8 parts of speech in the English language. It's a fast way to learn English grammar because I thinks it's better to learn about things that you like.
